Event Description: The City of San Juan Capistrano will host a 4 day carnival at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park, located at 25925 Camino Del Avion beginning Saturday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 4. Carnival operation hours will be 12:00 noon - 10:00 p.m. daily. Carnival operators, Guadagno and Sons Amusements will offer a full scale carnival complete with 17 mechanical rides suitable for children and adults along with a midway for those who want to try their luck at winning a prize at one of the the carnival games featured in the midway. Carnival food fare available to purchase at the event. Plenty of free parking is available.

Event Description: When elderly Rose catches her husband with another woman in the nursing home, she decides to go on a quest for the sexual adventure she has been denying herself for the past 60 years. Also, a bonus of 2 vignettes from the original production of Senior Moments are performed. This is the much awaited sequel to the award winning play Senior Moments by Don Fried that was honored for Playwriting at the American Association of Community Theater Region 7 finals in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Event Description: Romancing the West - Legacy Tour - How the West was Sung - is a documentary concert that spans over 240 years of the history of the American West in narration, rare historic photographs and film and original live music performance, featuring Celtic singer/songwriter Christina Lynn Martin and Cowboy Poet and Balladeer Butch Martin. Special guest appearance by Tom Scott as Will Rogers is expected!

Event Description: GET IN THE SPIRIT Kick off your July 4th weekend in grand patriotic style. A concert on the Historical Society grounds will feature guitarist Mike Chamberlin singing the songs of World War II. "Some of the greatest love songs of all time came out of the early 1940's and the 'call to arms'." Songs like You'll Never Know and White Cliffs of Dover promise to bring back endearing memories. Story telling of these songs is a fascinating and informative part of this program. Mike will perform two shows on Saturday, July 1 at 4:00 and 6:00. Bring a beach chair or blanket, kick back and enjoy the songs that inspired our country. The event is free to the public, but donations for historic preservation of Historical Society buildings will be appreciated.

Event Description: We know you share our concern for hungry neighbors in our South Orange County community. The Annual FAM Hunger Walk fundraiser is a fun walk beginning and ending at the San Clemente Community Center. The FAM Board of Directors and staff invite you to participate in our Walk by signing up and helping us raise money, becoming an official sponsor or making a donation. For nearly 30 years this walk has raised funds to help prevent hunger and homelessness in Orange County. In 2017 we aim to gather more people than ever to raise money for those FAM serves. We will be calling on individuals, businesses, schools, and faith communities to form “FAM Clubs” to help us in our mission! In 2017, FAM will hold its 30th Annual Hunger Walk. Come join our 30th as we walk to end hunger in South Orange County! More information about the 2017 Hunger Walk will be posted here when it becomes available.
